Hi, I’m Travis.

I’m the co-founder of Home Ladder, an Arizona property management company built around a simple idea: if you invest in your team first, they’ll create exceptional experiences for everyone else.
That philosophy shapes every decision we make.
We’re not trying to become the biggest property management company. We’re building one of the best. That means hiring people with character, giving them the right tools, creating clear systems, and empowering them to make great decisions. When your team enjoys what they do and takes ownership of their work, owners notice. Residents notice. Everyone wins.
For property owners, that means fewer headaches, better communication, faster leasing, well-maintained homes, and a team that’s proactive instead of reactive.
For residents, it means living in a home where maintenance requests are handled quickly, questions are answered by people who genuinely care, and renting feels a little more human.
My role isn’t to manage properties. It’s to build the team, culture, and systems that make exceptional property management possible.
Outside of Home Ladder, you’ll usually find me on a mountain bike, in the gym, hiking with my pointer Ruger, or chasing down another trail that hopefully ends at a waterfall.
I’m endlessly curious and probably spend too much time reading about building science, military economics, history, and how thoughtful zoning and city planning shape the places we live. I love understanding why systems work, and more importantly, why they don’t.
Whether it’s a company, a neighborhood, or a city, I’m fascinated by how small improvements compound over time.
At the end of the day, I don’t believe success comes from doing one thing exceptionally well.
It comes from building a team of exceptional people who do hundreds of small things well, every single day.
